Sales Development Representative

Position Overview
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a pivotal role in driving top-of-funnel growth for Behave Health. In this role, you will engage potential customers through targeted outbound prospecting, qualify incoming leads, and create strong sales opportunities for our Account Executives.
As the first point of contact for many organizations, you’ll help introduce our EHR platform and set the foundation for meaningful sales conversations. This position is ideal for a motivated, results-oriented professional looking to grow their career in SaaS sales within the behavioral health technology space.
Key Responsibilities
Prospecting & Outreach
Execute multi-channel outbound campaigns (email, phone, LinkedIn) to generate new business opportunities.
Research and identify key decision-makers within treatment centers, recovery residences, and related behavioral health organizations.
Craft personalized, value-driven messaging that resonates with behavioral health professionals.
Consistently meet or exceed daily and weekly activity targets for calls, emails, and social touches.
Continuously improve outreach strategies using performance metrics, testing, and market feedback.
Lead Qualification & Handoff
Qualify inbound and outbound leads through structured discovery conversations to determine fit, urgency, and buying intent.
Schedule high-quality product demonstrations and meetings for Account Executives.
Maintain accurate, detailed, and up-to-date information within HubSpot CRM.
Collaborate with the marketing team to share insights on lead quality, campaign performance, and market trends.
Build a strong understanding of customer pain points, industry challenges, and the competitive landscape.
Pipeline Development
Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities across target market segments.
Track, analyze, and report on key SDR performance metrics including conversion rates, meetings booked, and pipeline impact.
Actively participate in sales team meetings, offering insights and recommendations from frontline prospect interactions.
Support strategic growth initiatives such as conferences, trade shows, webinars, and other lead generation events.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Required
1+ years of experience in sales development, business development, or inside sales (SaaS experience preferred).
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding activity and pipeline-generation targets.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a confident, professional phone presence.
Experience using CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) and sales engagement tools.
Self-motivated, resilient, and comfortable with handling rejection in a high-volume outreach environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced, fully remote environment.
Nice to Have
Experience selling into healthcare, behavioral health, or treatment center markets.
Background or familiarity with addiction treatment, recovery residences, or mental health services.
Experience with sales tools like Outreach, SalesLoft, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
Prior experience in a fast-paced tech startup environment.
Comfort using MacOS and modern collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Slack, Google Workspace).
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Remote work environment with flexible scheduling.
Sedentary office work with extended periods at a computer.
May require occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds.

Position Overview
The Customer Success Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring customers achieve maximum value from the Behave Health EHR platform. You will guide new customers through onboarding, deliver workflow-specific training, and provide ongoing support that drives product adoption and long-term success.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about customer relationships, proactive problem solving, and improving outcomes in the behavioral health technology space.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Onboarding
Manage the full onboarding lifecycle to ensure a smooth, timely implementation.
Schedule and lead customized training sessions based on each customer’s workflows and operational needs.
Configure EHR settings, permissions, and workflows according to customer requirements.
Create and update onboarding documentation, training guides, and customer resources.
Establish clear expectations, timelines, and go-live milestones.
Ongoing Support & Customer Success
Provide responsive, high-quality support via email, phone, and chat to resolve customer issues.
Conduct proactive check-ins to assess customer health, usage, and risk indicators.
Log, track, and escalate software bugs or feature requests using internal task systems.
Educate customers on best practices and new product features to increase adoption.
Monitor usage analytics to identify underutilized features and optimization opportunities.
Retention & Growth
Drive customer satisfaction and retention through solution-oriented, relationship-focused service.
Identify opportunities for renewals, expansion, and value-added features.
Partner with the product team to share customer insights and advocate for enhancements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customer stakeholders at all levels.
Contribute to customer success playbooks, process improvements, and internal best practices.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Required
1+ years of experience in customer success, customer support, or account management (SaaS or healthcare preferred).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred), ticketing platforms (HelpScout), and Google Workspace.
Ability to manage multiple customer relationships simultaneously.
Empathetic, patient, and professional in all customer interactions.
Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
Nice to Have
Experience in behavioral health operations, treatment centers, or recovery residences.
Background in Substance Use Disorder (SUD) or Mental Health services.
Experience with EHR platforms or healthcare technology systems.
Prior experience in a fast-paced tech startup environment.
